Telling Time in Russian

What time is it? => Который час?
As in most of the romantic languages, there are several ways to tell time. It seems that the best method, across the board, is to simply state the hour and the time:

1:44 p.m. = один сорокчетыре дня
2:30 p.m. = два тридцать дня
8:06 a.m. = восемь ноль шесть утра
10:15 p.m. = десять пятнадцать ночи
at 6 (sharp) = Шесть часов. (Use час at 1 , часa at 2-4, часов 5-12 if the exact time)
It's midnight = полночь
It's noon = полдень
When do we go? = Когда мы идем?

Russians use both the 24 and 12 hour method of telling time.
