Negative Sentences
Italian uses double negatives.
never => non...mai (non goes before the verb, mai goes after the verb)
neither...nor => non...nè...nè
no longer, no more => non...piu`
nobody => non...nessuno
not even => non...neanche
nothing => non...niente

Comparatives / Superlatives
as ____ as => cosi` ____ come, tanto___________quanto
less ___ than => meno ___ di/che
more ___ than => più ___ di/che
as many ___ as => tanto ___ quanto

For example,
Maira is taller than her. => Maria e` più alta di lei.
I am smarter than you. => Sono più astuto di voi.
Peter runs less quickly than me. => Peter corre meno velocemente di me.
The kitchen is as big as the living room. => La cucina é tanto grande quanto il salotto.
I have more books than her. => Ho piu` libri di lei.
We have as many cars as him. => Abbiamo tante automobili quante ne ha lui.
